Our Story

Temi African Groceries Ltd was born from both personal experience and a clear gap in the market.

Growing up in a Nigerian household in the UK, I was surrounded by home-cooked African meals that were rich in flavour, culture, and nutrition. However, I also saw how time-consuming traditional cooking could be, often discouraging people from preparing these meals regularly.

As a working professional and mother, I faced the same challenge. Balancing a demanding career with family life made it tempting to rely on takeaway food. But like many consumers today, I was increasingly concerned about food quality, ingredients, and preservatives.

I wanted meals that were Authentic, Nutritious, Convenient, Free from unnecessary additives.

That’s when I recognized a major opportunity:
there was a lack of trusted African sauce mixes in the UK that combined authenticity, quality, and convenience.
